Discover the Freedom of Utah Horseback Riding with Us!
Enjoy a scenic horseback ride high on the south slope of the historic Soldier Hollow Valley — the venue of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Our wranglers and horses will take you on a ride you’ll never forget. Enjoy views of the Wasatch Mountains, including Mount Timpanogos and Deer Creek Reservoir. We will help you step back in time and relive the old western days of horseback riding. We have a variety of trail rides available that will suit your group or individual requests. In the winter months, rides are only 1 hour long. Starting April 1, you have the option of the Crow’s Nest ride (1.5 hrs long) or the Mountain Meadows ride (1 hr long). They are on the same trail.
A few things to keep in mind when booking your ride:
- Riders must be at least 8 years old to participate.
- One rider per horse — No double riding.
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- All rides begin with a 10-15 minute arena lesson to introduce guests to the horses.
- There is a weight limit of 230 lbs, although the overarching rule for all guests is that everyone is able to climb on and off the horse by themselves. Each rider must also have the balance and stamina to stay on the horse for the entirety of the ride.
- We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. For a full refund, please contact us three days prior to your ride. If you are already within the 72 hour window, we will do our best to help you reschedule your ride or leave a credit on your account for future use.
